Dear Xanga,

It has been awhile. My how you've aged. You have been good to me, but I have found a new love. You are amazing and any person would be lucky to be with you. This has nothing to do with you. I hope you understand. I still want to be friends. I hope that's okay with you...

Sincerely,
Aaron Sucaldito

...well folks, I think it's about time...you can now find me here...

LAST HOORAH
...I don't know if I'll ever post on here again...but for old times sake, here goes...hope you enjoy...

XLERATOR
...a quick tip to those traveling on the road...if you see one of these -

...DO NOT...I REPEAT, DO NOT CUP YOUR HANDS TO DRY...and if you do, (double negative alert) don't tell me I didn't warn you...

NO CLUE
...this was probably a couple years back...but I saw one a little while ago and it made me think because I've never really understood this shirt...

...is there an actual need for this...did Macy's get thousands of calls from women who were complaining that their arms were really warm and their necks were super cold...on a random note, turtlenecks always make me think of Mitch Hedberg...

...anyways folks, this is it...check out the myspace page...I'll be recording in January...so look for some new songs up soon...Merry Christmas!!!

I’M GOING, GOING…BACK, BACK…TO GR, GR

...well folks it's good to be back...adjusting to the changes...and there's probably more to come...but change is good...

I'M MAKING A BAND!!!
...okay well not really...well, not yet?!?...who knows...I was looking at some pictures from freshman year and found one of me and Dan Griggs...we thought about making a band after we graduate...we were goign to call our band... "That One Band" ...and then our first single would be "That One Song" ...and we would have been the sweetest one hit wonder ever...and when we were on the radio and people would ask who we were and what song we played...people would answer "That One Band with 'That One Song'" ...but alas...it never quite panned out...I'm still up for it though...anyone in?!?

MADE TO FLICK
...so I found one of thse the other day...

...so I wonder if there is something inherent within us that makes us want to flick these roly polys...kinda reminds me of the booger post...maybe God, on the day He created animals, thought that "it was good" to have a creature to flick...and so He's in heaven just flicking away...and we, as creatures made in the image of God, like to flick these roly polys as well...cause nobody teaches us to flick these things...it's not like mothers everywhere are telling their four year old kids "Now son/daugher, when you see a bug that rolls into a tiny ball after you touch it, you must flick it. It would be quite improper if you did not flick the poor bug. In fact, the roly poly will be slightly offended that you did not flick it. So be polite, and flick away." ...no I don't think that lesson is being taught in between the potty training lessons and the "do not cut your own hair or your sister's hair with scissors" lesson...

AWKWARD POSE
…so I came across Michelle Dwyer’s facebook profile…and I laughed…the end…okay just joking…but seriously, does anybody else find it hilarious seeing those group pictures where you have that one person on the edge of the picture trying to squeeze into the photo…YET…they would fit in comfortably if they just stood up naturally…there was no need for that awkward angle you were posing at in an attempt to “squeeze in”…so now you have a photo where you just look ridiculous…almost as if you’re that needy “I need attention, look at me” person….you would think that the person taking the photograph would be like…”hey you on the edge standing at a 45 degree angle…yea you…you don’t have to pose uncomfortably like that for the next seven seconds…you can stand normally…you fit in the frame just fine”…or maybe there’s just some mean photographers out there...cause they’re always the one who are telling people to squeeze in…maybe it’s a conspiracy!!!...hmmm for the visual learners…let me show you what I mean…

...first off, Michelle Dwyer's profile pic of the lovely gals from Credo...

...notice Caitlin Russell's leg to torso angle...no need, no need...

...oh Evensong...who took this picture?!?

...hot asian buns coming through indeed...but no need...no need...I think I may have injured my back in this picture=P

...learning, laughing, loving, living...may you never forget the depths of the grace and love of God...be blessed friends!!!

SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMERTIME...

WHERE DID THESE COME FROM?!?
…so I still haven’t unpacked everything from school because I’m expecting to move back to GR soon…anyways I ended up looking through some stuff that I did have from school…and I just have one question?!? How does one accumulate so many post it note packets?!? I have never once bought post it notes and yet here they are…maybe schools think that the best way to welcome students back to school is through an abundance of post it notes…

ALL THAT WORK…
…I was looking through some graduation pictures and realized I forgot to post about those silly cap and gowns…well more like the cap…so when you’re about to graduate they send you a form and you’re supposed to fill out some information for your cap and gown…once such question asked about the size of your head…well I filled out the whole form except for that one question…because I had no idea how to measure my head…straight edge rulers don’t work well in measuring curved heads…so I didn’t hand my form in for like two months just because of it…and who wants to ask other people how to measure your head without feeling dumb?!?...so I finally asked a friend…turns out it is quite the simple solution…anyways, ANYWAYS…I get the cap and gown…and what does it say underneath the cap?!? ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!! Thank you Cornerstone for two months of unnecessary stress=P…

MINOR PET PEEVE
...as a big sports fan, I've been keeping up with the NBA playoffs...I'm not here to talk about the Pistons losing (sad, I know)...I just want to vent a little on a certain player who wears #3 for the Miami Heat...anybody else bothered by the fact that his name is spelled Dwyane...shouldn't the 'y' and the 'a' be switched around...

MARKETING FOR JESUS
…sooooo before the Family Christian Bookstore closed down…I, along with Laura Jackson, who happens to own the 3-D glasses I am wearing in my profile picture, which happened to be taken on the camera of Elizabeth McDaniel (I hope you two ladies are happy now for finally being recognized=P) went to the bookstore to see what was left in the store…in that area where they sell school supplies, they also sell church supplies (makes sense)…and in the church supplies section we found something called the “Chasid Cup”… I still don’t know what to think about it…so here’s some pictures and a link…

http://www.communionsource.com/chasid_cup.asp

...hmmmmm...thoughts anyone?!? anywho...hope everyone's summer is going well...me? I still don't feel completely graduated yet...feels just like its summer...maybe because it is summer=P...reading like crazy...writing songs again...speaking of songs...I'm pretty sure me and a Miss Kelsey Madelyn are gonna be doing a show together...if you're interested let me know!!! be blessed friends!!!

THINGS TO DO AFTER GRADUATING...

...so after a crazy last month of school...I am finally graduated...and I've also had some time to finally relax...thought I should probably update...aaaaaaand go...

HOW TO PROCRASTINATE A MUSIC HISTORY PAPER

…so a couple weeks ago I had to do a music history paper…one part of the paper was about the life and music of Brahms…in one of his biographies I read that he had francophobia…I had no idea what that was so I looked it up…turns out that it is the fear of France…in the process of looking up this fear, I ended up finding some interesting fears…and in that process, I ended up spending two hours less on a paper I should have been working on…so here’s some I thought I should share…

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia - the fear of long words...hehe this makes me laugh...those wordmaker people can be so mean sometimes...plus, I think I totally one upped myself from my previous post about floccinaucinihilipilification...

Cymophobia or Kymophobia: the fear of waves or wave like motions…if you have this fear, you should probably stay away from those youth groups who constantly sing “Every Move I Make”…singing that song on the seashore would probably just kill that person on the spot…goodness, God bless these people…

Arachibutyrophobia: the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth…wow, I’m speechless…

Hylephobia: the fear of materialism or the fear of epilepsy…ummm what?!? who figured out the symptoms for this one?!? C’mon, doc, make up your mind!!! It reminds me of that one joke by Mitch Hedberg where he’s talking about getting interviewed and they ask him the question…”Have you ever taken sugar…or PCP?!?”

Zemmiphobia- the fear of the great mole rat…hehe this makes me laugh…I think it’s because of the word “great”…if that word wasn’t there, it would have never caught my attention…I don’t think I’ve ever heard of this so called great mole rat…I don’t think anyone has even seen this animal…maybe that’s why people are afraid…dun dun duuuuunnnnn…plus, it makes me think of this…

 OVEREAGER VOICEMAIL

…oh overeager voicemails…how you are so awkward…when the phone starts ringing and it gets to about the fourth ring I start rehearsing what I’m about to say in the voicemail…cause you know, you gotta sound somewhat cool and composed when you’re leaving a voicemail…we all have our awkward, stumbling over our words moments…but to have it recorded, oh boy…anyways, you know how when you get someone’s voicemail…it goes through that whole process where that one girl’s voice goes through all these options…if you want to leave a callback number…yada yada yada…well, I have a great distaste for those voicemails that go absolutely straight to the beep…no girl's voice, no options, no nothin'...well, there is one option, I like to call it the "awkward option"...going straight to voicemail is the way it probably should be, but after using all those times to practice, I’m definitely not used to it…those straight to the voicemail ones catch me off guard and I end up leaving an even more awkward sounding voicemail…for about the first five seconds I’m like “oooooh, hey, oh boy…where’d that one girl’s voice go?!? Ummm yea…”...and at that point you can't hang up...because it's too late...you've already stated about seven monosyllabic noises...and that initial stage just flusters you throughout the voicemail and blah…aaaaaawkard…

…quite the year of change…but trusting in the One who does not…be blessed friends…

Luther Vandross: Greatest Hits

THE BEST WAY...

I find the best way to celebrate the fact that Jesus is alive is by doing the following two things:

work on a ten page paper for music history
work on a twenty-five minute presentation for piano ped

post script: quick story about our Easter service, before the service starts, as people are coming in, we play some background music...we have this huge database of worship songs that we just put on shuffle and let it cycle through...a couple minutes before the service was about to start...I hear this song and find it somewhat familiar but have no idea what the song is...it had this R&B kinda feel to it...it was really different than what I have been used to hearing us play but I didn't mind...and then it gets to the chorus of the song..."Here and now..."...my face went something like this >< to this >< as I realized that we were just playing Luther Vandross through our main speakers during our Easter service...I also thoroughly enjoyed the fact that this happened during a service which usually has a lot of guests...now, don't get me wrong...I think Luther Vandross is one of the greatest songwriters of Easter music in all of music history...however, I don't think "Here and Now" was one of his best Easter works...

post post script: that wasn't a quick story at all...

post post post script: I have no idea how that song got into our Windows Media Player database...
